For over three decades, Amstar™ DMC has been the destination management company countless travel advisors have relied on for clients heading to Mexico, the Caribbean, Costa Rica, and Hawaii. Now, in honor of their 35th anniversary, they’re doubling down on their commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.
Marking a Milestone with a Fresh Look
A full rebranding is giving life to Amstar’s renewed promise.
First announced by Ray Snisky, Group President of ALG Vacations® and Amstar, at our Ascend conference in October 2024, Amstar’s new visual identity highlights their purpose of building emotional connections with their customers.
The new, modern logo pays tribute to the brand’s iconic floral shirts—which also got an upgrade—while looking ahead with a subtle nod to technology. Map markers and speech bubbles combine to create an abstract, four-point bloom where the past and future playfully merge, blending Amstar’s signature yellow and blue.
The redesigned Amstar shirts offer a simple elegance that suits the brand’s serviced destinations. A soft blue version of the logo flower has replaced the brightly colored buds of old, calling more attention to the colored logo beneath the lapel. Eye-catching but understated, Amstar’s airport and resort representatives will be as easy to spot as ever in their new uniform.
… And a Strengthened Outlook
That’s not to say Amstar’s rebrand only has visual appeal. While a bold, contemporary look certainly helps Amstar stand out in a crowd—and a crowded market, making transfers and excursions an easy sell—the bulk of the changes lie with the message.
Moving forward, you and your clients can expect:
- A fully customer-centric approach focused on “Destination: You,” a brand essence that promotes Amstar’s dedication to personalized service and transformative experiences.
- Technology enhancements for an elevated guest experience, including transforming their airport transfer experience (stay tuned for updates).
- Standardized communication across all channels, from emails to text messages, for all 32 of their destinations.
The complete rollout goes into effect in January, but the care-driven culture? That’s been there from the start.
